When I was a kid, I thought weddings were straight out of a Disney movie. You meet your person, you fall in love, and then… poof! A magical day unfolds with doves, twinkling lights, and a grand ballroom filled with people dramatically dabbing at their eyes.

Then we grew up...

And we learned that weddings are less “happily ever after” and more “financial horror story.”

But back to that in just a minute…

After nearly five years together building a life, a business, a family… we’re getting married.

But figuring out how to get married… well, that was the hard part.

We debated eloping.

Our wedding is the case study, and along the way, we’ve learned a lot about designing meaningful experiences, and protecting something that often gets lost in the noise: the sanctity of marriage.

Because while some might scoff at the idea of selling tickets to a wedding…
We have to ask: Is it really more sacred when a couple starts their marriage in debt?

What if, instead of bending to the pressure of extravagant, performative events, couples could return to what weddings were always meant to be: A public display of their heart, creativity, love story, and sacred commitment... shared with their village.

What started as a weird idea became the new normal.

FAQs

What should I wear?

Honestly… whatever you want. Gasp, even white? Even JEANS?! Yeah we don’t care. There’s no dress code here. Just dress to celebrate, dance, and feel comfortable.

It’ll be a warm summer day, and who knows… there might be a slip and slide.

One quick tip: the venue is mostly grass, so maybe leave the stilettos at home — unless you want to aerate the lawn. 😉

Will I be on camera?

Yes! We’re creating a TON of content around our wedding. By attending, you agree to the possibility of your beautiful face being featured in photos/videos.

What’s the deal with wristbands and check-in?

For security and guest safety, we’ll be checking names and IDs at the gate, so make sure the name on your ticket matches your ID.

When you check in, you’ll receive a wristband that gives you access to all the festivities.

No wristband = no entry, no drinks, no fun. (Boooo)

What food/beverages will be there?

We’ve got you covered with delicious food and great drinks to celebrate! Each guest will receive two drink tickets to use at the bar. After that, you’re welcome to purchase additional beverages if you’d like to keep the party going.

Should I bring a gift?

No gifts, please. Your presence is the best present.

Can I bring my kids?

We love kids! Of course, children are welcome, but they will need their own ticket.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Yes! There will be plenty of parking, however, with the amount of people attending it may be easier to Uber in and out. If you’re planning to drive in, there will be lots of signage and someone there to guide you.

What if I RSVP’d and can’t come anymore?

We’ll cry a little… but yes, life happens. Please just let us know as soon as possible so we can update our guest list and make room for others.
